“DOLORES
ON JEFF” DOLORES: There’s an old saying, that men marry women in the hope they’ll never change and women marry men with the intent of changing them. It was sort of like that with Jeff and me. When I first met Jeff he said it was my hair that attracted him. He told me never to change it. He loved redheads. Hell, whatever works. Then one night I saw him staring at this blonde. So, I figure that’s what he really likes. So, I made an appointment at the beauty parlor and voila… I was a blonde. He loved it. He said it was like making love to a stranger.
